Barbara, Yes I would be very interested in the Jost you have found. I have no idea where my Nikolaus was born and where to find his parents. The records I do have were from microfilm read at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS church library in my area) Its very hard going trying to find where to look next. Years ago I purchased a book called: Stammfolgen Verzeichnisse 1994; Genealogisches Handbuch des Adels Bande 1-105 Deusches Geschlechterbuch; Alte Reihe Bande 1-119; Neue Reihe Bande 120-199 by C.A. Starke Verlag, Limburg Only thing is its all in German and I can,t find anyone that can translate it. Would you know if you can purchase something like this in English?
