The diocese of Trier printed a number of facsimiles of the oldest map of the diocese. The map with the title "Trevirensis Exactissimo Descriptio" from 16th century was made by Jan van Schilde. It has a size of 32,5 x 24 centimeters and shows 600 villages, rivers etc. It is detailed but has some mistakes regarding the neighbour territories of Trier.
