Hello Marge, well the point is that Dellwo and Dupre can be found in that parish. That gave me the idea you should search in Zuesch - I hope for you that you are lucky to trace your Heinrich . regards from a nasty wet Germany Ursula
Oh Ursala, I wish I were there. It is always more attractive to go somewhere else, especially for a short time. Guess it is always good to be home again. Next time, I also want to go to Belgium and Luxenbourgh. Have some realatives I do write to there now. Do you live in Trier or around it? Do you know any of our Dellwo family? I think the mayor or Burgemeister of Geisfeld is a Dellwo, brother to my friend Leo. And I have a Dellwo grandaughter on my Dellwo site. Her parents live in Damflos, and she is going to the University. She does go home several times a year, whenever there is holidays. It is wet here also, melted snow, but we need the moisture before our winter sets in for real Heinrich is just kind of a thorn in my side. It really bugs me not to be able to connect us, when He is stated to be from Damflos, and it is such a little town, and I cannot connect him with the records. I think he had to have lived somewhere else after marraige, and that is what I am missing. Thanks again. marge dellwo ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ursula Buchholz" <ursula@ursula-buchholz.com> To: <trier-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, November 13, 2006 8:37 AM Subject: Re: [TRIER-ROOTS] Dellwo > Hello Marge, > > well the point is that Dellwo and Dupre can be found in that parish. I have never ordered that parish. I thought because so many were on the IGI that that was it. And even though the IGI records say Zusch many are in Damflos and Geisfeld . I found my point of reference. This lookup is for Heinrich Dellwo and in the J Mergen book, 1952. It says Der Labourer Heinrich Dellwo, M, 31 years old with his wife Anna Maria Dupre, 26 years old. It also said from Trier area. I want to know is that correct, and does Mergen give references to where he found it. I tried to do Koblenz references today, on Cyndi's List, but didn't do well. Dear Jerry, Jerry, I am so sorry about that you was in 1969 in Trier. At that time I was 2 years old ! I think you have seen a lot in the last centuries I have never seen. I know a lot about Trier and the region, but I am only 39 and have so much to learn. Since August 2005 I do have a girl friend, spending a lot of time with and for her. My interest in genealogy and my interest in Trier Roots was stopped for a while completely. The homepage I have found is the best I´ve ever seen about Trier history. Believe me: I have learned a lot, too. Werner #################### "Jerome A. Heisdorf" <jheisdorf1@wi.rr.com> schrieb: Thank you so much for all this information about Trier. Plat books for land ownership were issued in 1862 and 1880 and, of course, we would not expect that he would be in either of those. In those early days births, deaths, etc were not required to be reported to the Sheboygan County offices so there is nothing there. Assuming they were Catholic, and attended the church at St. Anna in Calumet County, you could contact the diocese office in Green Bay, WI I believe they hold old church records, but it may take 2-3 months for a reply, so I am told.
