    3. Hi, This is my first request to this group. I am trying to find out any information about my gr-gr-grandmother Susanna (PETERS) DAHM. According to family history, she was born in Trier, possibly near Bittburg on 8 Aug. 1847. She left Germany with her sister Madeline to come to the US. I have information about her marriage to Nicholas DAHM and their ten children. They lived in Indiana. I am not sure how to go about finding any information about her in Trier. She was a catholic, but there were over ten parishes listed on a 1896 map. Could some one point me in the right direction. I would be so thankful. Mary

I was so happy to find a site so closely associated with my name! I have been able to get some information about the city, but none about the TRIER family. TRIERWILER seems to be as close as I can come. There are no prefixes or suffixes to our name. Although, I assume there has to be some rather strong connection to Trier. My grandfather was Celeste Trier from Hurley, WI. I don't know anything beyond this. Any help is appreciated!! I have enjoyed reading everyone's notes, to date!! Sarajane L.
