Hey all- I finally got to my computer and I have som info on this particular Andrew. While I don't have dates for him I do have a record of Civil War Service: pvt. 79th E co., 51st Co. F. 09 Dec 1863- 13 Dec 1865 He is the son of Dr. Andrew Jackson Treon and Sarah Coffman (different from my eariler e-mail, Elizabeth Coffman married John Treon.) Looking at the dates of service I say this is the Andrew who married Jennie McCallie. Hope this helps! Court

I'm not certain it clears up anything for certain, due to the middle initial discrepancy, but this could be the Andrew J. who was born in 1846 and wed Mary (per Merritt Wolfe), and Mary may have been a second wife, or an error. Dr. Andrew J. Treon was living in Shelby Co., IN which is just north of Bartholomew Co. He was married by my records twice, (1)Elizabeth Coffman, (2) Lydia Steenberger. I believe that Dr. Andrew had a son named Andrew, I believe he went by Andrew D. Treon. Here is his obit: Died, Andrew D. Treon at Marietta at 9 o'clock p.m. July 13th, age thirty-nine years. The remains were buried at the Patterson graveyard, services at the M. E. Church in Marietta at 10 o'clock a.m. July 15th. The minister in charge of the congregation officiating. D. B. Wilson funeral director. I'm not at the computer with my genealogy dates, but I hope this info helps. Courtney
