Maria Jane Tremper was born 22 Oct 1841 in Washtenaw Co, MI and died 6 March 1922 at Ann Arbor MI. She ws married in 1862 to Charles Henry St. Clair, born 1 Jan 1840 in NJ. Don't have a death date for him. He was a farmer. They had children John Charles (1862);Jacob E. (1858); Alvin C. (1864);Willie (1868); Lucy Maud (1873); and Myrtle Ann (ca 1870). John C. married Lillie Ellen Burchfield in 1892. They had child Doris Louise St. Clair, b 1 March 1905 in St. Joseph MI, died ca 1992 in St. Joseph MI. Her last known address, when we wrote to her, was 706 Central Ave, St. Joseph MI 49085. She married J. Bernard Schwerdt ca 1929 and was widowed. No known children.
