My Tremper family is from New York. I don't know much about them. Jacob Tremper b. August 24, 1810 d. June 15, 1888. He married Sybil A Phelps b. June 5, 1816 d. April 16, 1891. They had the following children: Daniel B, James E, Michael O, Harriet M, Sybil Betsy, Augusta C, Harvey J, Harley M, Alice E. Augusta Tremper is my Great Great Grandmother. She married Allen Reubin Brown also from New York. I know the Trempers were still living in New York when Augusta was born. Jacob later moved his family to Birch Run, Michigan.
