His oldest brother was named Richard and his father was named Jeptha (names given to Jeptha & Eliza Treadway Kite's sons) I have a record stating that his niece Susan Emaline was b. 1850 in AR. I show a Jeptha Kite in the 1860 Van Buren Twp., Crawford Co., Arkansas Census, pg. 642, Dwelling 318, as living with Charles C. Dunfield and wife Elizabeth. Jeptha Kite was listed as 25, b: MO, Laborer. Hope this helps some.
