My Mother and her sister Odessa's maiden names were Owens, which is the surname that my Mother gave me when I was born, since she was never married to my biological Father, Eldridge Treadway. You seem to be a really good sleuth at your hobby. I am really impressed and I feel that I should enlist you to help me locate some of his living relatives. I would really like to meet and get to know some of that side of my blood line before we all get too old. I am still working full time and never seem to have time to do much investigating online.
