Va. - Mary Grace Treadway Forshey, 94, of Washington, passed away Thursday (Dec. 30, 2010) at Heartland in Devola, Ohio. She was born in Washington County, Ohio at Reno, Ohio on June 26, 1916, to the late Norman A. "Gus" and Rosalie Gray Treadway. She was married for 59 years to the late Charles E. Forshey on June 25, 1937, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1997. She graduated from Marietta High School, Marietta, Ohio in 1936 and was a member of the Reno Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Judy A. Williams, with whom she lived, of Washington, West Virginia; two sons, Charles W. "Bill" Forshey and wife Kathy of Seymour, Mo., and Jerry A. Forshey of Parkersburg, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Warfield and Edith Forshey; two brothers, Vernon and Edward Treadway; one son-in-law, Ray Williams; and one daughter-in-law, Olive Forshey. Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be in Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
