I have been trying for a number of years to find some of my Treadways, but so far to no avail. My paternal grandmother was a Treadway from Irwin/Embreeville/Jonesborough Tennessee area and had 8 brothers. I know there must be cousins down there somewhere but so far, have not heard of any. I believe my grandmother's one brother was Elbert. Grandmother's name was Virgie Isabella (Treadway) Dent. Her parents were Charles Quillen Treadway and Mariah Embree (White) Treadway.
