My mother is a Treadway (Treadaway, Tredway, Tredaway) born in KY, while I was born across the state line in TN. I've found the surname spelling makes no difference to which branch you descend, since all the branches are on the same tree. I have Treadaway's, also, in Louisiana. It's really a small world.
