Hello, Hoping someone on this list can help me out. I am a descendant of William Franklin Treadaway/Treadway born 1848 in Pickens CO SC. I have him as being the son of R.T. Treadaway and Arminda Isbell. R.T. being a son of Richard born about 1780 and Nancy (unknown) On William Franklin's marriage certificate in Forsyth Co GA, it lists the bride and grooms age, where born, and both parents. R.T. is listed as Toliver. A lady on the Isbell family has that R.T, is Paul Tolliver and that he is the son of William Treadaway born 1787 and Dorcas Cox. I haven't been able to find Arminda and her three children on the 1850 census, or R.T. and Arminda on the 1870 census. They are in Cherokee Co GA in 1860 and then in 1880, Arminda and sons Thomas and John are in the same home and Arminda is a widow. Their son, William Franklin is also in Cherokee Co with wife, Margaret Satterfield and two daughters, Adeline and Harriet Oveline. If anyone has any information on these people, I really would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks, Gayle
