    3. Hi Treadway/Treadaway Listers Does anyone have any information concerning the book on Tredway/Treadway/Treadaway family history compiled by Clarice S. Cox? I want to purchase a copy of the book if that is at all possible. Next best thing would be for me to pay an owner of the book to copy the title page and bibliographic information for me. I already have a copy of some sections of the book--just not the complete information to reference it. Sharon

    3. Sharon, You might be able to get the information you need by accessing the online catalog of a library that has a copy of this book. I went to the Library of Congress at <http://www.loc.gov/>, clicked on "search the catalog" then on "basic search" then on "Author/Creator" Search Type box. It typed in "Cox, Clarice" the the Search Text box, and clicked on "Begin Search". That took me to http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?Search_Arg=Cox%2C+Clarice&Search_Code=NAME_&PID=1828&SEQ=20020422085709&CNT=25&HIST=1> where I clicked on "Cox, Clarice S" and then on "Treads of Thomas Treadway" to find: LC Control Number: 85070534 Type of Material: Book (Print, Microform, Electronic, etc.) Brief Description: Cox, Clarice S. The treads of Thomas Treadaway / compiled and edited by Clarice S. Cox. Carrollton, Ga. : C.S. Cox, 1985. 187 p. : ill., ports. ; 29 cm. Maybe this will give you the information you need. --- Dan Treadway P. O. 3. Sharon, If you decide to rewrite a book on the Treadways, I can give you information on my branch of the Treadways. It is not covered in the book "The Children of Jesse" Good Luck. Pat Worlledge [email protected]
