This has to be our Jeptha & son Richard KITE that you referred to. The interesting item is that Jeptha and family arrived at the port of NY in 1832. I have read passenger lists in SLCity until I thought my eyes would drop out...but, I had been told that they arrived in New Orleans and so always read those lists! I know that Richard's daughter Susan gave AR as her pob in the 1870 MO census. I'll continue to search and let you know of my findings. Thanks so much for your kind help, Becky in CA
