It's hard to identify which are cousins and which are brothers. Something in the back of my mind tells me that James Treadway (the one you mention) came from NC from the lineage of Richard Treadway (b 1706 MD/d 1777 NC). I will check further in my older records and let you know what I have if it connects directly to the B. F. Treadway who married Eliza May. I haven't given up trying to figure out who belongs to whom...30 years is a long time searching to give up easily. Some of those NC Treadway's went on into SC and are connected
