Can anyone tell me how Jesse Treadway, born 1800 in Virginia fits into the other Treadways on the eastern sea board. According to John Lykins will filed in Kanawha County in what is now West Virginia, he names Jesse Treadway as his son. Jesse's mother was supposed to have been Mary Treadway or Kincaid and it is not known if she was John's wife or perhaps Jesse was orphaned and raised by John and his wife, Mary. It has also been said that Jesse was a direct ancestor to all of the Treadways that can be found living in WV today, including myself. Thanks for you time.
