John C. Treadway married Rebecca Chapman. They lived in Walker Co., GA in 1850 with several children. Asberry, Sarah who married Benjamin Copeland, and others. The family moved to Arkansas in 1856. I've been told recently that they traveled with the Tate's, probably others. I thought John C. Treadway's father was Richard Treadway (but could be his grandfather. John C.'s mother was a Smith.
