Treadway, 71, of Feeder Dam Road, South Glens Falls, N.Y., died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at her home. She was born at Saranac Lake, N.Y., on April 20, 1931, the daughter of Foster Sr. and Viola (Bombard) Alphonse. Janet worked for the NY Telephone Co. for 42 years, retiring as a supervisor from their Glens Falls office. She is survived by her son, Steven Treadway of Port Henry, N.Y.; two sisters, Santina Trybendis of Minville, N.Y., and Betty Vanderhoof of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; her brother, Foster Alphonse Jr. of Winchester, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated Friday, May 24, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Port Henry, N.Y. Father Michael Toth officiating.
