Have had the same questions about why they came to La. In an early genealogical quarterly Jerimiah's ancestors came to America to Mass ca 1630. That Treadaway was Nathaniel, but I haven't been able to connect him to the New Jersey line. Have you? I also found accidently another Jerimiah Treadaway bn ca 1800 in New Jersey on the 1850 census of Washington Cty., Ohio. Living next door is his brother Jonathan. Their are so many things that tie these families including the fact that the Ohio Jerimiah also had twins. Have you found anyhing new since you last post? Sally New Orleans
