Elisha Bonard Holloway b. 28 Apr 1885 in Roane Co., Tennessee to William Henderson and Louisa (Ingle) Holloway. He died 20 Sep 1931 in Roane Co., Tennessee from blood poisioning from an infected tooth. He was buried in Glen Alice Cemtery in Rockwood, Roane, Tennessee. Elisha owned a 100-acre farm called Smokey Run Hollow in Whites Creek area in Roane Co., Tennessee. His first wife was Bertha Mae Evans (b.01 Mar 1891 d.01 Mar 1911 from typhoid pneumonia), daughter of John Evans from Grandview, Rhea Co., Tennessee. They married on 22 Nov. 1908 in Roane Co., Tennessee. They had two children: Jonas Albert Sr. (b. 25 Oct 1909 in Rockwood, Roane, Tennessee d.15 Mar. 1995 in Harriman, Roane, Tennessee [I have more on him too]) and Mattie 'Pearl' (b.05 Feb. 1911 d.30 Jun. 1995). After Bertha's death, he re-married in 1912 to Bessie Belle Treadway (b.15 May 1893 in Roane Co., Tennessee d.07 Jun. 1987 in Roane Co., Tennessee), daughter of Charles Daniel and Cora B. (Hinds) Treadway. They had 10 children: Velma Ruth "Holly" (b.18 Feb.); Goldie Valentine (b.11 May 1913 in Flat Rock, Bourbon Co., Kentucky d.23 Nov. 1998); Clarence Bernard (b.22 Aug. 1914 in Glen Alice, Roane Co., Tennessee d. 10 Feb. 1929 in Roane Co., Tennessee); Beulah Helen (b. 28 Jan. 1916 in Roane Co., Tennessee d.25 Dec. 2003 in Roane Co., Tennessee); Margie 'Juanita' (b.02 Sep. 1918 in Roane Co., Tennessee); Hoyet Harold (b.07 Oct. 1920 d.29 Jun. 2009); Wilma Faye (b.31 Jan. 1922 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee d.29 Jun. 2010); William Earl (b.29 Jan. 1926 d.25 May 1927); Joseph "Joe" (d.26 Aug. 2011 in Roane Co., Tennessee); and Ola Mae (d.02 Jan. 2008 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee). Ola Mae never married. She was buried on 05 Jan. 2008 in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee. Margie Juanita married John Nelson Burns (b.03 Aug. 1912 in Roane Co., Tennessee d.18 Jun. 1980 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee), son of Hamilton and Eliza C. (Limburg) Burns, in 1936 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee. They had two boys and one girl. Beulah Helen married Edward Eugene Hinds (b.19 May 1915 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee d.03 Jul 1974 in Roane Co., Tennessee), son of Allen Stoke and Luct B. (Fickley) Hinds, on 24 Jul. 1937 in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee. They had one son. They were both buried in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Roane Co., Tennessee. Goldie Valentine married first Robert L. Corn and then Charles Benson (b.06 Feb. 1916 in Maryville, Blount Co., Tennessee) on 25 Jul. 1936 in Roane Co., Tennessee. Her and Benson had three boys. Velma Ruth married a Bonetsky. They had one daughter, Barbie (d.27 Apr. 2011), whom married Jeff Ogg. I have the obituaries for most of the above deceased children and parents.
