His daughter's name was Emily (born in 1860 in Texas). Emily's mother name was Nancy. Emily married Jackson Singleton, son of Mason Singleton. To complicate matters, Mason and Nancy were married in Austin County Texas on October 11, 1871. Mason and Nancy ran a boarding house in Travis County Texas according to the 1880 census. Emily and Jackson lived there as well. I am beginning to wonder if Mason and Nancy took in an orphaned Emily Treadway, seeing I can't find any information about her on previous census records. I am looking for any information about this family. I have some information about Emily (Treadway) Singleton's children and grandchildren. I hope some of our information matches up.
