    1. [TREADWAY-L] Anthony (Tony) Treadway
    2. Hoping someone may be able to help me to contact Anthony (Tony) Treadway Jnr., b c 1964. Tony's father was Tony Snr, my cousin, and his mother was Gloria nee Williams. Tony was born in Arlington Texas. After his parents divorce, Tony Jnr. had no further contact with his father's family. His grandfather would dearly love to make contact if Tony Jnr wishes to do this. I am a family tree researcher from Australia, my mother was a Treadway from Middlesex in England. I have lots of information on this line, if anyone would like any, of course all in England. Thanks.

    3. Hi Carla, I am on a Treadaway line from New Jersey, Jerimiah Treadaway bn ca 1775. His father was Henry, and grandfather was Henry Treadaway. Jerimiah's mother was Deborah Quicksell. Deborah and Henry were married ca 1773 in St Michael Zion Church in Philadelphia> Pa. We were trying to see if this line of Henry connected in some way to Nathaniel Treadaway of Mass. Nathaniel came to US sometime late 1600's. Jerimiah married Rebecca Lock, we think of Phila., and came to New Orleans, La. by 1810. 2. Thanks for the message. I don't know if any of these could be my Benjamin Franklin. He had two sons, Benjamin Franklin (b. 1862) and James Abraham (b. 1860), both born in Arkansas and both settled in Oklahoma. You have given me something to search on though and I appreciate it.

    2. A little further study shows that Earl Eugene Treadway is the brother of Marion Edgar Treadway. The other two Eugenes are their first cousins. All four are grandsons of David Pitner and Helen Mary (Chalfant) Treadway who were married at Beardstown, Cass County, Illinois in 1867. They moved to Nebraska about 1884, bringing eight children--two more were born in Nebraska. All of these individuals should appear in _Edward Treadway and His Descendants_ by Oswell Garland Treadway, 1931.

    2. Patricia, I have three Benjamin Franklin Tre(a)d(a)ways in my files. One was still alive after 1900 so can't be yours. One was son of Lewis and Rebecca Ann (Shelton) Treadway, born 20 Apr 1942 in Sullivan County, Indiana. The third one was son of John and Onijah (Holt) Tredway born in 1819 in Carter County, Tennessee. Could one of these be yours?

Actually, Hez deserted his family in 1924 when my grandmother was 15 months old. Hattie never divorced him. She never even had the opportunity to, because she didn't know if he was dead or alive. 1. Re: [TREADWAY-L] Steve Treadway- Al.
    2. Hello. I am not sure whether what I have found will be of any use, but here goes. My great-grandmother Narcissus Treadway was the daughter of Steven Treadway and Frances Picron, according to her death certificate. She appears with him in the 1870 census of Fayette Co. Ala.and the 1880 census of Lawrence Co. Ala. Steven Treadway is evidently the son of Moses Treadway of North Carolina. On the assumption that there might be an Illinois connection, I searched Illinois for the name Picron, and indeed, there is a Picron in 1830 Morgan Co. Illinois. That is what I know thus far. As I say, I don't know how much use it is. Regards, Anita
