Robert Leon Treadaway is my uncle and was the founder of the Dr Pepper Bottling Plant in Shreveport, LA. and died there in 1937 and is buried in family plot in Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas with his other family members.  I have been there many times and seen his grave stone as well as other Treadaway family members and siblings. Treadway, 76, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 12, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born July 17, 1937 in Queens, New York; the daughter of the late Cornell and Louise Drucker Seedyke. She loved her family, friends, and her home. She was an animal lover, enjoyed reading, puzzles, cooking and HGTV. She worked for the City of New Lexington for several years before her retirement. Virginia is survived by her son, Roger Treadway Jr. of the home; brother, William (Elizabeth Pugh) Seedyke of Bethesda, Maryland; several cousins, nieces, nephews and in laws; and special friends, Carol Treadway, Norma Moore, Trinda King and Leslie Pierce. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Roger Treadway. The family wishes to thank the staff at Davita Dialysis of Zanesville, Dr. Mark Scott, the staff at Genesis New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center, for their care and support. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.
