    2. Traugott, Rick
    3. My grandparents came to Canada in 1929 from Poland (Edward and Eugenia). My Dad (Erich) was 9 months old. They were forced to Western Canada for two years (North Battleford, Saskatchewan) then returned to Kitchener, Ontario where they lived until their deaths in 1981 (Eugenia) and 1987(?) (Edward). They were both born in 1900. My Dad had two brothers, Arthur and Walter (1930 and 1932 I think). They are all still alive. I am an only Child. Arthur had two girls, Joanne and Wendy. Walter had a boy and a girl (Edward and Sherene (?)). I have three children Jenna, Katie and Ben. There are more 4th generation children but I'd have to ask for names as we don't see cousins too often. I know my Dad has a fairly large family tree that was put together by a cousin of his that lived in Montreal. I met her once but I should get a copy from my Dad. It may be of more interest than what I know off the top of my head. Hi Rick..... We would be interested in the generations that you know of off the top of your head.... It is my understanding that some of the WISCONSIN Traugotts came through Canada.... Your names for parents, grandparents, grtgrandparents and maybe gggparents might be a big BIG help... can you send them to the LIST so that others that join might be able to know of the names you are aware of.... I think that would be great! I am part of the extended family of a WIlhelmina Traugott who married a Mathew Priester and lived in Delta COunty Michigan... that is down by Escanaba Michigan on the Northwestern shore of Lake Michigan.... Date: Fri, 6 Dec 2002 09:20:00 -0500 I understand Traugott to mean "trust in god". I am third generation Traugott in Canada. Correspondence is welcome. I don't research my family's lineage but would welcome any interesting information. Thanks.
