Okay, this will be my last posting about Tyrone but I wanted you all to know the story about the surname Bowes (he thought it was English before he DNA tested) and how he found the names of his 37 marker medieval neighbors in an epic Irish poem and then found the placename Bowes Crossing where his distant relatives live today and are still farming. I mean how much more exciting can genealogy get? DNA turns a lot of genealogists off but this is one of the most exciting things happening today. I invited some of you who are on Facebook to befriend me. Those of you that are not on Facebook, send me an email and I will copy what I posted.
