QuickBooks is a full accounting software. Quicken Home and Biz is more a bookkeeping software. d ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Hawes" <rootsjockey@gmail.com> To: transitional-genealogists-forum@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2013 4:52:22 PM Subject: Re: [TGF] Business Accounting Software Suggestions Learn something new everyday! I have Quicken Home and Business in addition to Quickbooks. I had no idea QH&B did invoices also. I have had QB running for so long I guess I never looked! I might try that in 2013! I do love Quicken for my personal finances. I don't know how anyone manages their money without it. Downloading activity from the bank is my favorite feature. There is a comparison between the two at the following URL and probably elsewhere: http://www.goflagship.com/articles/ckgen1.htm With QH&B able to do invoices and statements it looks like you can avoid purchasing Quickbooks. It appears that QB would only be useful if you also needed to track payroll.
