I looked at Quicken and didn't see how I could set up separate accounts for clients. QuickBooks allowed me to that, however the program might be heftier than one needs for a home-based business. Based on Dee Dee's comments, Quicken Home and Business might be a better option. Bonnie Dunphy Kohler South Florida
Quicken Home and Busienss allows you to set up a client, a project, a vendor and other business contacts. It also allows you to prepare an invoice (which is customizable), an estimate and a statement. I use the invoicing feature. It does nearly everything that Quickbooks does but with a more user friendly interface. Also since I file taxes as a sole proprietorship, I keep my personal and business records in the same database, making tax prep easier. Quicken H&B keeps the data separate. It does not do payroll so if you need to do a payroll, you need Quickbooks. Eileen _______________________________ Eileen A Souza, P.L.C.G.S.
