OKAY, I never thought I would be posting this here, but... Four years ago, we bought a house built right after the civil war, by a confederate soldier. Almost immediately we started hearing things and lights were turning on and off. Timidly, I contacted the former owners who rushed me off the phone after I asked them about strange occurrences. Then my grandson (while visiting) saw a little girl upstairs and became terrified. A couple of months went by and I found a TAPS team. They came and investigated and returned with recordings in hand of a little girl and others. We were startled, yet relieved we weren't going crazy! To verify (yep can't trust one source!) we brought in another TAPS team from across the state. They too recorded EVPs and have video of a door moving on its own. Nothing bad as happened to us nor do we think the house is scary. When I organized a county genealogical society and people learned where I live - numerous stories began with "Do you know..." and they talked of a little girl or a confederate soldier.  Oh the things we learn at society meetings!
