Dear Genealogy Friends, The Minnesota Genealogical Society has issued a call for proposals for the Tenth Annual North Star Genealogy Conference 6-7 October 2017 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. This is a growing mid-sized conference that draws from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas. Compensation is modest, but North Star camaraderie makes this an outstanding opportunity to get to know the Upper Midwest genealogy community. As a bonus, you get our beautiful fall colors, plus exciting Twin Cities sightseeing, shopping, and cultural options. Your presentations will fill out a program headlined by Paula Stuart Warren and Cyndi Ingle. The Earl Browne Conference center is a historic Minnesota farm that has been converted to a modern, high-tech conference center -- a perfect setting for a genealogy conference focused of heritage.
