    3. Unfortunately, there's no foolproof way for the software to identify duplicates with 100% certainty, so Dee's advice is probably the best approach. It may be tedious, but it's better than merging two records that have a difference you might not see which later turn out to really be two different people!     3. Eva, If you have FTM 2014 you can export specific branches and then combine them into one tree.
