Hi all, I have a question about copyright. I am a member of several closed genealogy Facebook groups where there are requests for lookups, documents, obits, etc. What are the issues regarding posting a copy of a recent newspaper obituary whether from the paper itself or from an online source such as newspapers.com? I have transcribed info but have been leery of providing an actual copy. I have read the Ancestry Terms and Conditions and I think I understand how I personally can use the content, I am not sure about this particular issue.
