I am beginning Lithuanian research for a friend. I searched Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org, but sources appear limited for non-Jewish citizens. I am looking for suggestions on sources pre-1916, online, subscription, archives, anything. I have never used My Heritage and honestly do not understand what it offers that Ancestry does not offer.
