The son, Joseph LeJeune, settled around St. Landry Parish and married Perrine "Patsy" Hayes. Some researchers show that mother Marguerite Trahan was the daughter of Etienne Trahan. Etienne's son, Honore, took in Joseph LeJeune during Deporation (which he was listed as an orphan). They say Honore was his uncle. So far I can't find documentation showing the relationship. Another researcher shows Marguerite to be the daughter of Etienne's brother, Joseph. They state that the marriage record or Anne Marguerite Trahan to J.B. LeJeune lists her parents as Joseph Trahan and Anne Terriot showing that her two brothers, Mathurin and Jean Baptiste were present. But then he states that Marguerite remarried in 1782. I don't think she would adbandon her children in the 60's and remarry in the 80's. I have very limited resources to research for the Acadia in my area - so I need a lot of help!
