And it would be great to share stories. Seven was the name of one of my grandfather's brothers. We never knew why he was called Seven, as that was only a nickname. Later during my research, I was assisted by a genealogist who graciously shared that my great grandfather's name was Sevenne. No one in our family, for generations, ever knew that. So that was a major discovery. I don't know anything about Charles Trahan, only that he was Mary Hortense's father. But I am curious, is your picture which is entitled "Grandma Trahan", Renice?
