I have Dres/Trace in my lines, but my connection is a couple generations back from yours it looks like. What area of the country are we talking about? There are a lot of the Dres/Trace connections in Berks and Crawford County PA in the laste 1700's/early 1800's. Conrad Dres arrived in Philadelphia on 27 Sept 1746 on the ship Ann Galley. He was from Aich Germany if memory serves me correctly. mike ----- Original Message ----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com To: TRACE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, October 18, 2007 7:44 AM Subject: [TRACE] Dress/Trace family This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
