I am a descendent of the Trace/Foust/Brown/Braun connection in Berks and Crawford counties PA. I am trying to find information about Benjamin Brown (1801 according to Evergreen Cemetery, Summit Twp) married to Elizabeth Trace (1811 same source). Other sources mention birth dates of 1806 and 1816 respectively. At any rate, Elizabeth or Betsy was the daughter of Jacob Trace and Catherine Foust. I cannot tie him to the family of Frederick Braun born 1739 in Germany who came with his father, Johann and brother,( at least) Engel or Engle in 1753 to PA. Any help for more information on these families would be appreciated. My third great grandmother was Catherine Trace married to Peter Brown (Braun). Thanks.
