Found your message re Watson David Clark and Lorenzo Clark.. Lorenzo is also my great grandfather and Watson my GGGrandfather so we must be cousins. My grandfather was Hadley Clark and tbe youngest of Lorenzo's children, I have been working on genealogy for several years, My sister in law discovered Samuel Clark as the father of Watson, but I have not been able to find the name of Samuel's father. I just discovered the Trace/Dres line back to 1600. I would be glad to share any info I have.
