He immigrated from Ireland in the 1840's and I have a typewritten copy of his diary that he wrote for his grandchildren. (My G Aunt has the original) You may be decended from his two half-brothers who lived in New York when he immigrated. Unfortuately, I do not have their names. If you'd like a copy of the diary (as my family calls it) just e-mail me and I'll mail you a copy. It's what I call "real history" meaning it hasn't been edited by some historian.
