His parents were William and Mary Tomlin. He had a brother named Jonathan Tomlin who was born in Union Co, SC in 1816 (?). Jonathan married Rosanna Hyatt in Oglethorpe Co, GA. He also had sisters named Amanda (who married WIlliam Wakefield in GA and moved to CarbonHIll, Walker Co, AL ) and Sarah Ann (who married Martin Hill in GA and moved to Cleburne Co, AL. Wesley married Sarah Jane Elizabeth Hyatt, who was born in Anson, NC. Their daughter was Amanda and married John Cade Williams in Holly Grove, Walker Co, AL. They were my Gr grandparents. I don't have my records in front of me right now, but if any of these names sound familiar to you, I'll be happy to look up my records and see what else I can find about them.
