Author: Contribution Surnames: Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.toman/129/mb.ashx Message Board Post: HUBBARD - There will be services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home, for Frank Paul Toman, 81, who passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at University Hospital in Cleveland. Frank was born Oct. 4, 1933, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a son of Joseph and Mary Fedorshian Toman. He was a 1951 graduate of The Rayen School, Youngstown, Ohio and in 1960, received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Youngstown State University and in 1961, his Master's Degree from Kent State University. Frank was a teacher of government and history for the Liberty School system for 38 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Austintown, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Frank coached Little League and Pony League Baseball, was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Indians fan, and enjoyed spending time with his various pets. He will be sadly missed by his family, his wife, the former Elizabeth J. Beradino, whom he married May 25, 1957; his daughter, Marybeth (Randy) Fincher of Tampa, Fla.; his son, Brad (Barbara) Toman of Brecksville; and four grandchildren, Matthew (Megan) Gambrel, Bradlee Toman, Brooke Toman, and Brandon Toman. He also leaves his sister, Helen Balog of Youngstown and his brothers, William Toman of Youngstown and Robert Toman of Austintown . Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Toman and Joseph Toman; and his sister, Marian Pierko. There will be calling hours on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home Frank will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
