Good day all. The following is from the 1881 British Census as requested by David Allen. While doing a search for Robert Loveless in Norfolk the following is what showed up: Dwelling: Market Place Census Place: North Walsham, Norfolk, England Source: FHL Film: 1341464 Pro Ref: RG11 Piece 1922 Folio 103 Page 7 Name Marr Age Sex Birthplace Robert A Loveless M 44 M Dover, Kent, England Louisa Loveless M 37 F Southport, Lancashire, England Arthur W. Loveless U 32 M Diss, Norfolk, England I will do a search later for a John Loveless but from an earlier search that I did there did not appear to be a John Loveless born in 1841. This is not new. My grandfather's family on my dad's side does not show up in the 1881 census. Perhaps they weren't home that day. Anyways, Hope this helps if only to rule out the impossible. David, my John Loveless was the uncle to George and James Loveless. Donna King Tolpuddle List Manager oldest Loveless ancestor John Loveless born circa 1731 in Tolpuddle,Dorset, England. ----- Original Message ----- From: David Allen <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, May 29, 1999 7:00 AM Subject: Re: [TOLPUDDLE-L] 1881 BRITISH CENSUS AND NATIONAL INDEX > Hi Donna, thanks for the offer of looking at Loveless in the 1881 census > Irene has already been very helpful for me in finding my direct ancestors in > the Norfolk Loveless family.
