Just visited the above. Apparently TMs lived here after their 'stay' in Australia. This Saxon Church (built 1060) was carefully guarded by one Rev Phillip Ray in the 1830s - (advertised as the oldest wooden church in the world) but he was not keen on the TMs and made sure their tenancies were not renewed. So they went to Ontario. I would be interested to learn how they got on in Canada. I visited and lived there from 1966-69 : the present rector of Greensted Church says not much is known of their history whilst in Greensted but thinks this should be remedied. Can anybody help. Thanks
