Toodles Eye VICTORIAN POLICE GAZETTE p9 - 9 Jan.1868: Stolen from the dwelling of Thomas LOVELESS, Maine's Paddock, Guildford, Castlemaine district, on the 30th December, a new white petticoat with lace on the bottom and embroidery on the body, a pair of English gold earrings minus the fastenings, a lady's English gold watch chain, and a plated brooch set with 3 green stones, one end broken. - 8 Jan.1868 p126 - 2 Apr.1868 Stolen from the dwelling of John LOVELESS, Mount Rowan, Ballarat West, on the night of the 20th March, a red and black rug, 2 white blankets, a pair of black cloth trousers, a light coloured cloth vest, a black silk quilted hat and blue silk neck tie. The property is supposed to have been taken to Ballarat. - 1 Apr.1868.
