Oh Carol what am I going to do with you, it must be the drugs, opps needle. Read back through the messages to Tolpuddle List this morning and I sent information about John and Thomasin today for Donna, mmm just incase it didn't go through I will paste it on the bottom of this email, it went out of my out box but cann't remember seeing it come back in. I started on the films today, Tolpuddle of course was on the end of the reel. What was interesting is that I read the marriage of John Lovelefs and Thomasin Gould, yes they were spelt Lovelefs and I am wondering who changed the spelling when coping the information from the Bishops Transcripts. I know that this is the old English spelling for Loveless but I feel if the records say Lovelefs then they should be copied that way. Why and who changed them???? Anyway when I got to the Baptism of John and Thomasin's first son Thomas he is listed as being the son of Thomas and Thomasin, I thought it must have been a misprint but then for the burial of Thomas Jnr in 1747, it had son of Thomas, so can't see them misprinting it wrong twice, old Vicar could have had two many ales at the baptism and got all the Thomas and Thomasin mixed but twice?????? Now this throws a spanner in the works because everyone I research with has John and Thomasin as his parents. I am going back tomorrow for a couple off hour so will see who the parents are for the rest of the children. Now tell me if the email below didn't go through, I replied to Donna and the Tolpuddle address appeared. Donna, you there??? This might be a problem if this email didn't go through this morning the problem might be in a reply address. Do you understand me????? Clear as mud! Toodles Eye P.S. Yeah Carol my Loveless's were in Victoria from the 1850's and in and around Ballarat in the late 60's early 70's.
