Carol I have a couple of Thomas Lovelace on my tree from around the time have said. Both were born in Mosterton, Dorset, not that far from Bridport and both seemed to disappeared from the Mosterton area. Any chance one of them they may be yours? Have you any more detail so I can see if there is any connection. Apologies if we have been through this before.
