Hi all: I have been following this thread, but my William Henry LOVELESS married Mary Jane MAY, my great-aunt, in Portsea, which seems to have nothing to do with the Tolpuddle lot. If the tentative genealogy I have is correct, his father and grandfather were both named William and lived in the Portsea area, and this gives some plausibility to his grandson being William Henry V LOVELESS, there being five successive generations of William LOVELESS in the same family (who knows if they all had a middle name Henry?) Three of them certainly were William Henry. It's just that nobody seems to have connections to these folks, and if there is a Tolpuddle connection it has to be before the early nineteenth century. I hope _someone_ will be able to trace thier LOVELESS roots back to Hampshire, instead of Dorset! Regards Martin Willcocks Taylorsville, UT, USA.
