Hi all. Can't help with particulars as I don't have anything on my Lovelesses emigrating from England at this point but who knows what the future will bring. I think, however, that R.I. is perhaps Rhode Island. I believe that the States operate under a two-letter code for their States. Canada just went to two letters in the past couple of years. BC - British Columbia AB - Alberta SK - Saskatchewan MB - Manitoba ON - Ontario QC - Quebec NB - New Brunswick NS - Nova Scotia ? - Prince Edward Island ? - Newfoundland ? - Labrador The above provinces are in order from West to East. I can't remember off the top of my head, probably because I have had no call to use them, what the new abbr are for Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Labrador. They used to be PEI, NFLD, and LAB respectively. Perhaps Sandra knows what they are? I have two maps of England on my wall of my office so I can get a picture of the relationship of the places where my ancestors come from. I'm beginning to think, however, I need to have a map of the world so I can tell where all my new friends are living.
