    1. [TOLPUDDLE-L] My English Loveless
    2. Hi. I am happy to have this more focused Loveless list, as I continue my search for Loveless overseas. I am following up on research that I got from my aunt, my mother's sister. In addition to word of mouth information, she paid a woman in England to do some research. My earliest Loveless: William Loveless, b. m. Ann Hickland b. children: Mary Ann b. 7/29/1828 John b. 4/4/1832 Charles b. 2/21/1836 Sara Jane b. 6/24/1838 Matilda b. 2/04/1841 Jane b. 10/8/1843 Emily b. 1/22/1846 William b. 8/20/1848 All born Alton Pancras Dorsetshire, England My gr grandmother, Emily, also worked on Isle of Wight, for family of B. W. and E. A. Way. (I got this info from extract of 1871 census returns). Emily emigrated to Iowa, US with George Knight, of PiddleTrenthide, Dorset, whom she married in Dubuque Iowa in 1877. In my aunts research, she communicated with a Jack Loveless, of Bristol, who gave her names: Charles son Jack Henry, son: John daughter Kate son: Jake son: Arthur Edward daughters Jan, Coleen William Gertrude Alice son: Reginald Heath daughter: Marjorie Heath Emily George son Hector I have beatiful picture of Alton Pancras church with cemetery. Also, memorial card for Matrilda Ann Loveless, noting she was interred in Family Grave, Brislington Cemetery, and one for John Loveless, who died 11/27/1893, and was interred in Holdenhurst Churchyard. I think I am going to have to go over there again myself and start digging around. I wish I could connect to one of the Williams I keep seeing around! Good luck, and wish me luck.
