    1. [TOLPUDDLE-L] Isle of Wight Loveless's
    2. Irene Howgate
    3. Hi Linda I read with interest your post about your Emily Loveless working on The Isle of Wight. Do you know if she had Loveless relatives there? I have a photo of Isle of Wight Loveless's, it was sent to me from my dad's cousin Betty. Betty has for years had a penfriend of the name of Loveless who lives on the Isle of Wight, this penfriend sent a photo of her descendents and said (as we all do at some stage) that they descended from the Tolpuddle Loveless's. The names on the photo dated 21st August 1912 are Grandpa Loveless Grandma Loveless (second wife) Uncle Harry Loveless Aunty Rose Loveless Albert Loveless Elly Cleek? Rose Cahill (Loveless) Albert Hodge Florence Loveless (Hodge) Uncle Fred Cahill Uncle Harry James? Aunty Flo James?(Cahill) Rose's Sister. Tiny? James (child of Harry and Flo) Leonard James (child of Harry and Flo) Vera James (child of Harry and Flo) Norman Loveless (child of Harry and Rose) Cyril Loveless ( child of Harry and Rose) So the photo tells us that all these families are connected to the Loveless's of the Isle of Wight, except maybe Elly Creek. These people are not elderly, the adults are probably between the ages of 20 & 50 and not a bad looking bunch either. I have posted this information to the Isle of Wight mailing list with no success. I have written to the daughter of Betty's penfriend but haven't posted it yet because Betty said they have Christmas away from home. So Linda do you think that Emily could have had relatives on the Isle or maybe Way's are a relative? This could be interesting to follow. Irene At 20:50 11/01/99 EST, you wrote: >Hi.
